INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY 
(Asia Pacific, Middle East, Israel, Japan)

  • The project/community service should have a measurable impact in a local community and/or in the Philippines. 
CRITERIA

1.  Social Responsibility
  • Must be actively serving the community for at least two (2) years.
  • Reaches out to the disadvantaged sectors by supporting projects or programs to improve the quality of life. 

2.  Hardwork, Industry, & Discipline
  • Has basic sense of responsibility towards work.
  • Can deliver the work expected.
  • Has systematic work ethic & initiative; obedient to proper rules & procedures.
  • Is patient when necessary. 

3.  Moral Integrity & Social Acceptability
  • Has no case of graft & corruption.
  • Not involved in any scandal or anomaly at present.
  • May have had a history of conversion/moral transformation.
  • Able to separate objective tasks from emotional/personal involvement.
  • Accepted by the community as a person with a fair sense of justice.
  • Respected by the community in general. 

4.  Love for Family
  • Maintains a harmonious relationship

INSTITUTION (North America)

Mechanics
  • Open to all Filipino organizations in the Northern America including Canada
  • Organizations shall be based on a project completed through a communal effort in the bayanihan spirit.
  • The project should have a measurable impact in a local community and/or in the Philippines.

The GLOBAL BAYANING PILIPINO AWARDS shall be conferred on a project or service that has been completed through communal effort in the bayanihan spirit. This project or service should have a measurable impact on a sector or community in the Philippines or in overseas Filipino communities.

CRITERIA
  • Measurable impact: scope and number of beneficiaries with known effective results. 
  • Highlight the value of unity/PAGKAKAISA (effective elimination of selosan, inggitan, siraan, etc. or has effectively dealt with these either through interventions or through innovative methods)
  • Issue-oriented:Focused on service and/or an issue (poverty,health, education, etc) as felt either in the US or in the Philippines.
  • Transcend regionalism/parochialism
  • Participatory/people-oriented leadership (as shown in the manner of how they choose their leaders and their acceptance thereof)6.Promotes Filipino values and culture; Filipino heritage.
