GLOBAL BAYANING PILIPINO (ORGANIZATION) 

MECHANICS:

• Open to all Filipino organizations in the US of A. and Canada
• Organizations shall be based on a project completed through a communal effort in the bayanihan spirit.
• The project should have a measurable impact in a local community and/or in the Philippines.

CRITERIA

1.  Measurable impact: scope and number of beneficiaries with known effective results.  
2.  Highlight the value of unity/ pagkakaisa (effective elimination of selosan, inggitan, siraan,      etc. or has effectively dealt with these either through interventions or through innovative        methods.  
3.  Focused on service and/or issue (poverty, health, education, etc) as felt either in the US        or in the Philippines.  
4.  Transcend regionalism/parochialism.  
5.  Participatory/ people oriented leadership (as shown in the manner of how they choose          their leaders and their acceptance thereof)
6.  Promotes Filipino values and culture; Filipino heritage.

Requirements:
 
1.  Anybody can be nominated by an individual or institution.

3.  Three (3) reference persons will be needed to vouch for the nominee's merits.
4.  Please include significant photos of the nominee.
5.  Other attachments may be sent as well.
 

BAYANING KABATAANG PILIPINO SA AMERICA (YOUTH HEROES)

•    The search is open to Filipinos living in the USA and Canada
•   Must be of some Filipino descent.
•   Between the ages of 18-34 years old at the time of the nomination period who is actively serving the community.

We are looking for someone who is:

1.  Doing creative service to other Filipinos and their communities voluntarily.                        {MAABILIDAD}
2.  Translates his/her idealistic aspirations into observable and consistent actions. {MASINOP AT MASIPAG}
3.  Manifests their sincere dedication which reflects their orientation for reaching out to       others.  {MASIGASIG}
4.  Able to evoke and animate their peers and other generations to get involved and serve others.  {NANGHIHIMOK}
5.  Radiates positive outlook in life and the future. {NAGBIBIGAY NG LAKAS NG LOOB}  

REQUIREMENTS:
